Rose + Mark - Lake Chabot Engagement // 15 Year Anniversary Wedding Coming Soon!

I had the pleasure of meeting these two months back, and we finally did the engagement session (rain kept getting in our way!). Mark and Rose met in high school. They made it "official" during the summer of 2001. I asked the bride to tell me more about their love story and wedding inspiration. Their story can be read as you scroll through this gorgeous, authentic and romantic engagement session.

From the bride: Mark and I went to the same High School and met in Sophomore year as friends. We started to date in our Senior year. We actually went to prom together, but we had separate dates. Haha long story!! We made it "official" in the summer July, 2001. Our wedding date this year will mark our 15th year Anniversary, and we are so excited to have reached such a great milestone as partners.....

....We made a run for City Hall SF on September 19, 2014, and to follow we had a traditional Cambodian ceremony for my parents. His parents are both in the Philippines. His mother had a stroke over 10 years ago, and she is paralyzed. As much as we want them to celebrate with us, it isn't possible. I know there will be a void and some missing pieces for Mark, but we will try our best to keep it together on our wedding this summer. I'm tearing up just writing about it.....

I've always envisioned having the "aisle wedding" and this is it. I am a hopeless romantic, and will melt to anything close to Twilight. The ambiance we want to set for our ceremony and reception is whimsical, sweet, romantic and intimate....

We enjoy the outdoors and have always known that we would want an outdoor wedding nestled in trees and twinkling lights amongst those that are closest to us.We love.....COFFEE, eating, laughing, being outdoors, taking pictures, cuddling at home with our cat, picnics, BBQ's, and just genuinely being happy.  We both care deeply for our family and our closest friends. We're the couple that's known to host a good party and gathering because we love to entertain. There isn't much we wouldn't do for the ones we love.

We are both compassionate, and loving individuals. I of course, am the more goofy, emotional and crazy one out of the two. Mark is the more serious and mellow one J It's a good balance. We're a great team.

Oh, and most importantly we have a FURBABY!!!! A cat. His name is Salt and he is our life. He's turning 12 this year, and life is nothing without him. We're crazy we know!!!
