Allison + Kassim // Elegant Cornerstone Sonoma Wedding
Kassim and Allison's Wine Country Wedding was absolutely stunning. Cornerstone is at the gateway to the Sonoma valley, featuring eclectic art installations amidst the magical natural surroundings. Hints of peach and gold set the summer tone amidst the sweeping Sonoma backdrop, along with delectable farm to table cuisine from Sage Catering, organic blooms by La Fleuriste and sweet treats to top it all off by Sift and Cake Delight.
In addition to the savvy details Allison & Kassim incorporated, the love and positive energy was palpable. Working with the two of them was such a wonderful experience for me. Not only artistically, but personally. My client relationships are by far the most important – and lead to honest and compelling photographs. The newlyweds headed to honeymoon in the Maldives (a tropical paradise in the Indian Ocean) to sweeten an already very sweet moment in their lives.

“We met in college at San Diego State University through mutual friends. We began dating after we graduated and both moved back home to the Bay Area. After several years of dating, Kassim planned a trip to San Diego to celebrate Allison's birthday, but at the airport he surprised her with a trip to BELIZE! After a few days vacationing on our beautiful private island, Kassim proposed on the beach at sunset. It was absolutely perfect!
We knew we wanted to have a classic and elegant wedding. We fell in love with the uniqueness of Cornerstone and loved that it was set outdoors. We decided to use decor to tie in our overall theme. We chose peach and gold for our colors. Our DIY project was to make our place card holders - gold Party Animals! Allison's father hand made our signature "LOVE" letter sign that lit up the barn. We turned the barn into a fun dancing lounge area with furniture, a chandelier, and yummy desserts to keep our guests entertained. In addition to our cake we also did a dessert table so we could have our favorites - macaroons! We were most excited about our first dance that we choreographed to "Fly Me to the Moon." Our goal was to make a beautiful yet comfortable space and environment for our guests to enjoy and have a great time! It was a beautiful and perfect day :)”
