Selecting your wedding album images & step-by-step guide! | Bay Area Wedding Photographer

Hello Lovely People!

I get countless emails each season from my couples regarding their wedding album images and how to choose! So, I thought I would blog about it to help guide you all in the right direction.

First of all, think about what you are going to want to look back on 10, 20, 30, or 40+ years from now.

Family? Moments and interactions? Romantic couples portraits that encapsulate you and your partner? Most likely yes to all of the above. I would also recommend incorporating images that help visually narrate the overall story of your day (i.e. a few getting ready moments, family heirlooms, landscapes that will bring you right back to that place, moments + interactions, details you want to remember, key ceremony moments, emotional reactions to speeches, hilarious dance floor moves, etc., etc.). Again, I am always here to answer any questions that come up!

Below is an example of a 12x8 flush-mounted wedding album with 150 images (this is on the larger side of what we offer). Each "spread" attached is equivalent to 2 pages with an invisible seam down the middle. This particular album has 31 spreads and 62 pages. All of the images were selected by the couple - and they did a great job.

Lastly, I made an album guide just for you :)
